How do you choose a doctor to perform the procedure and do you need a plastic surgeon?

What is the technology called?  Ultherapy

Ultherapy has been considered with people in mind who have found that the years have trapped up to them and their face and neck are showing signs of aging, like sagging of the skin. Ultherapy includes using ultrasound to exactly target the bottomless foundation below the skin - typically addressed in cosmetic surgery - without cutting or disturbing the surface of the skin.

How does Ultherapy work?

As with other ultrasound procedures, a smooth applicator is placed upon your skin which shows the underlying tissues on a screen.  The applicator is used to deposit small amounts of attentive ultrasound energy at just the right depth under the skin, while leaving the surface of your skin undisturbed.  Your skin's response to the ultrasound is to stimulate the growth of new collagen that helps strengthen the skin from within. Face and Neck Lift procedure is used to tighten facial skin and muscles around the face and neck.

Treatments for It?
The beauty of Ultherapy is that after just one treatment the body's own reformative response is stimulated, which will tighten and lift the skin over time.

Effective Results!

The effects of Face Lift and Neck Lift will build gradually over the course of two or three months, with further improvements occurring up to six months post-procedure. Noticeable effects contain a lifting and toning of slumped or sagging skin.  A noticeable lift of the brow line results in reduced skin laxity on the eyelid and a more open, youthful look to the eyes overall.  You will experience a stronger, better-fitting skin in the lower face and neck as well, such as along the jawline and under the chin, which can contribute to an overall "slimming" effect.
Need a Plastic Surgeon?

It is not necessary to have a plastic surgeon to perform this procedure.
However, we would caution against using technicians or nurses for this procedure, as it could be questioned as to how much training they have had with the procedure.  As with all aesthetic procedures there is a right way and a wrong way to perform a procedure and it would not be advisable to let someone use this technology if they have not had the required training, or minimal training.
The dermotologists who perform this procedure for our clients and whom we recommend, have had years of training and experience behind them and are specialists in this technology.
If you are thinking of having this procedure, contact us today and we can organise a package with one of our highly experienced and trained doctors.
